How if I have no basic

There are  a few guideline for those who are a new learner in mandarin language

  • Start small. Don't push yourself to do too much. Purchase some books from a bookstore,  or browse through internet which has a lot of sources . If you can, contact a Chinese friend ,  or any friends Chinese speaking country, as friends is the most easiest way to help you up. If you don't have one, try to find online pen pals !
  • Test yourself and have others test you. But remember, this is not an exam; it's helping you become fluent in Chinese.

  • Find opportunities to practice what you learn. Maybe there's a Chinese restaurant down the road. If there are Chinese people there, go in and greet them in Chinese!( They sure will be surprise)  You don't need to buy their food(since most of Chinese food are non halal). They will be delighted that you are taking an interest in their culture. Maybe one of your neighbors speaks Chinese. Make sure they speak Mandarin as you can train your listening skill as well....
We Are Always open if you willing to learn

  • Don't be too harsh on yourself. Learning a language is a gradual process - you have to keep at it. Chinese is one of the hardest languages to learn, so take your time. Most important, keep on practice, practice and practice...

about me

Hi, all my name is Au Chong Yee or you can call me Paul... I came fom Penang Island and currently studying in The National University of Malaysia (UKM).. Although study in UKM is not my first choice in the list but as time pass, i fell proud to study here because i have learned a lot of things even though i'm just settle down here for a month... My first choice was law but instead i get business course. I'm glad too because i finally realize law is not suitable with me because there are tons of book needed to study in this course... For me, its better to study things that involve everthing such as accounting, management, mathematics , economy and more...
By the way, i love my hometown a lot since i started my life there...  There are a lot of different between Penang and the place i currently studying, Bangi... especially the food.. People always said Penang food are awesome and i cant denied it also... But I have learned a new lesson here that we have to always satisfied what we have now since i'm now staying and studying in a comfort zone..

In conclusion, although there are still many things i cant adapt now but i try to see these things as my challenge as it give me the opportunity to grow mature and more independent.. And of course, try to appreciate and love what you have now... Have a nice day :)
